When considering interior design services, many people wonder about the differences between retail interior design and working with an interior design firm.  While both options can enhance a space, the level of customization, expertise and service varies.  Specifically, when the client requires reconstruction or renovations, a design firm team oversees the contractors, meets deadlines, maintains budgets, and is involved with the selection and acquisition of the materials for the project.

Most retail designers have varying expertise levels, from a sales associate with a passion for decorating to those who have a formal education.

Sofa So Good‘s interior designer will assist with selections – from the creation of a functional living room, bedroom, media room or dining area, including lighting, area rugs and art. She has the expertise to guide you with colour schemes, layouts and the best possible use of your space, whether a new smaller condo or a multi-level home.

With access to many Canadian manufacturers, we do more than sofas and will create the scale and unity of a well-appointed home.

Our designer will spend time with you to discover your preference of colours, textures and style.

The most important value of a retail interior designer is that their service is complimentary. Come to our showroom and explore new ideas and styles with the help and assistance of our knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Our designer is also available for home calls to measure the space, take photos and prepare a floor plan with the furniture layout. A small fee of $100 is requested for this service, and the $100 will be deducted from your first purchases.
