Twenty years before the creation of Sofa So Good, Paul Rasmussen owned and operated the Vancouver based furniture store, Georgia Interiors. Barbara Rasmussen owned and operated a successful chain of bedding shops known as Down n’ Under.

The dynamic husband and wife team opened Sofa So Good on Cambie Street in 1998. Sofa So Good is a local family owned and operated store specializing in Canadian made upholstered furniture.

Sofa So Good is the place to go for custom and off the floor sofas. Customers enjoy being able to select traditional and contemporary furniture with the help of Sofa So Good’s Sofa Experts.

In May of 2007, the Sofa So Good moved to accommodate a new showroom that is twice the size of their previous location. Slightly west to the south Granville area at Hemlock and 8 Ave, yet close to their Yaletown customers, you'll find a vast selection of fabrics (excluding leather) and seating for pretty much every room in your home.

Paul, Barbara and their team enjoy helping people on a daily basis find "furniture for life".

Sofa So Good will go the extra mile for their customers. “If you are sitting on the floor and need a sofa quick, we usually have lots of stock available or take advantage of our free loaner sofa, yours to use while you wait for the sofa of your dreams to be custom made,” adds Barbara.

With a larger showroom, Sofa So Good has a even greater fabric selection and has been able to add a rug gallery, lamps, mirrors, tables, throws, and accessories to the mix.

As a customer of Sofa So Good, you have the confidence of knowing that we back all of our sofas, sectionals and chairs. It's good to know we care about your purchase as much as you do. Here's our warranty policy for most of the furniture we sell:

• FRAME: Lifetime, covering defective materials of workmanship
• SPRING: Five years, covering defective materials or workmanship
• CUSHION: Two years, covering defective materials or workmanship
• FABRIC: One year,covering defective materials or workmanship
  

More extensive warranties may apply to premium products. Once you make your selection, we will let you know the warranty that applies to your purchase.

Sofa So Good is proud to offer our customers a truly unique reselection process in our quest for complete customer satisfaction. If after delivery you are not completely happy with your decision on the style, size, or fabric of your custom designed sofa, you may exchange your special order. Ask for details at time of purchase (delivery extra).

Depending on the manufacturer, it will take anywhere from 4 -12 weeks for your custom sofa to be produced. A more precise delivery time can be quoted at purchase, when frame and fabric are selected. We keep you in the loop as your selection is mid-way through production.

Sofa So Good is proud to announce that we have two financing options to choose from.

The first option is no interest no payments for six months. The second option is 12 equal payments no interest. Talk to us about the details (min. order $1,500, admin. fee $49 - OAC).
